What to wear to.. Show him you've still got it!!!

DIY - Colour Blocked Moccasins

Before
I decided to try a Do It Yourself (DIY) project after looking at the Honestly WTF DIY website . Since it is now beyond too cold to wear any sort of shoes with no socks; (I  bring shoes in my bag to wear at work) I felt like this was a relatively safe DIY, especially since my moccasins got a full spring and summer of wear!

To be honest I ADORE the way they turned out - but I will be buying a new pair of moccasins that I will not paint... yet... because after painting them I realized that I can no longer wear them with my green skinnies! And that was a banging outfit!!!

See below for my Honestly WTF DIY attempt (and success!!!) at Colour Blocked Moccasins:

Fall Makeup! Beauty Do's & Don'ts

Yaaaa Fall has arrived (and I still need to update my Osheaga adventures...) and I could not be happier... I love fall fashion - layering and leather jackets melt my little heart. I love the smell that is in the air and the drink specials at Starbuck's.
And do not even get me started on the fall makeup!!!!

Spotlight: Andrej Pejic

I recently put the February issue of Fashion Magazine out at work in our Staff Room. As soon as I placed it on the table the 1st comment I heard was "She is gorgeous!"

Although for most this is not big news... She is actually a he.

A Conversation on Cool

A Conversation on Cool

A few months ago I read a post on Coco & Lowe & it was about a tumblr page called a Conversation on Cool . It is super cool, I love the photographs. Lots are of celebrities from the 50-70’s, some are taken recently by the blogger himself but they all have this very bohemian glamorous feel to them.
Here are a few pics from his tumblr page (which I have bookmarked on both my phone & computer)

Spotlight: Basquiat

Jean-Michel Basquiat is one of my favourite artists. I will admit to a bit of ignorance in the fact I was introduced to him through a Rick Ro$$ song *hangs head in shame*, nonetheless after googling him I fell in love with his work, as part of SAMO & even more so as an individual artist.
